[your suburb or municipality] organisations can apply for up to $200,000 in grants thanks to the Victorian Government’s new $15 million Our Suburbs: Living Local Fund.

More Melburnians are living, working and socialising close to home. The newly established fund will support projects that increase the liveability, safety, accessibility and vibrancy of suburban neighbourhoods and shopping strips. Examples include community gardens, outdoor gyms, community hall upgrades, lighting and public art.

Grants are also available for local organisations to undertake minor building works, or to acquire equipment, to support their much-needed work for communities.

LIVING LOCAL GRANTS NOW OPEN FOR [SUBURB OR MUNICIPALITY NAME] ORGANISATIONS

Local community groups can apply for grants of up to $200,000 to support projects in suburban neighbourhoods and shopping strips, thanks to the Victorian Government’s recently launched Our Suburbs:Living Local Fund.

Community organisations can apply for Suburban Grants of up to $200,000 for infrastructure projects such as community gardens, community hall upgrades, public art and outdoor gyms.

Community Grants of up to $20,000 are available for minor upgrades and maintenance to facilities and to purchase equipment such as kitchen appliances, laptops and audio-visual equipment to assist not-for-profits in delivering their much-needed services and activities.

The Government is giving priority to projects in areas most impacted by COVID-19 and those that support the Government’s 20-minute neighbourhood principles.
